This website goodnews4china.com is originally intended for mainland China, so the first finished part is in simplified Chinese. Later on traditional Chinese version was set up and it is intended for Taiwan and Hong Kong. For the second generation of Chinese immigrants in North America, most of them do not read Chinese characters. I feel the necessity to add English version. Since English is my second language, I can only make some abstract of what I think the most important.

As for me, let me introduce myself. My name is Philip Lo, immigrated from Shanghai in early 1981 to Vancouver Canada. I was born in Shanghai and educated in Shanghai up to university, and worked there for about 16 years. In 1982 Easter I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour and baptized as a Christian.

Why shall I make a website ? Although I was under Communist and materialism education for more than 30 years, I never thought I found the objective truth and I kept searching. When I came to church and learnt to pray, I physically experienced the existance of God and His Salvation. By studying Bible and attending church worship I understand this is the truth I always look for, It is so important for those who are searching for the truth. Jesus is the Truth. I made my own evangelical tract and a cross-talk play, which is indeed a conversation of asking and answer about how I became a Christian and the way I view the world. I recorded on a tape the conversation between my wife, Ella Lo, and me. I distrbuted my home-made tapes for years. But the best way is to set up a website by myself and transfer all on the audio tape to the web for better spread. Since I'm not a professional, my intention is made, but there are much to improve.
